Who's asking
In Boston I was the Dyke Date Doctor: I ran dating workshops, hosted a stage show called The Lesbian Dating Game, set up half my friends, and went on roughly four hundred first dates over ten years so I could write the book about it.
I am not a supermodel. I am not anybody's idea of the hot girl. I don't care, and neither should you, because the people who matter don't mind and the people who mind will never matter.
From the archives
Must be able to commit to hiding out with me until rescue comes, or else trekking to Six Flags for one last hurrah on the Superman roller coaster. She'd have to have a great sense of humour, otherwise the never-afterlife would just be boring as hell.
I wrote hundreds of these, went on the dates they produced, and lived to tell it. Those stories are becoming a serial: dates that went beautifully, dates that ended in the snow, and the one where my roller derby friends had to step in.

Wearable evidence
Lines from the old ads, now on shirts, over at my other shop: "You don't have to be a gold star to ride in my car," "Department of Douchebaggery," and the rest.
